Not every tow ends a few kilometres away. Sometimes a vehicle has to get to another city entirely, and doing that properly takes planning rather than an improvised trip.
Where we go
Ottawa sits at the junction of Highway 417, Highway 416 and Highway 174, which puts most of eastern Ontario and western Quebec within straightforward reach.
Common runs include Ottawa to Montreal and Gatineau, Ottawa to Toronto along the 401, Ottawa to Kingston and Brockville down the 416, and Ottawa to Pembroke, Cornwall, Arnprior and Renfrew. If your destination is not on that list, call and ask. It is usually a yes.

Why people book a long-distance tow
Buying a vehicle out of town. You found the right car two hours away and it is sold as-is, not certified, or simply not roadworthy yet. We collect it and deliver it to you.
Moving house. A second vehicle, a project car or a non-runner that cannot be driven to the new address.
Repairs at a specific shop. A specialist, a marque dealer or a trusted mechanic who happens not to be in Ottawa.
A breakdown far from home. The vehicle failed on a trip and needs to come back rather than be repaired where it stopped.
Selling a vehicle. Delivering to a buyer, an auction or a dealer in another city.
Equipment and machinery. Small equipment, trailers and non-standard loads. Describe it when you call and we will tell you straight away whether it suits our trucks.
How we quote it
Long-distance pricing is driven by total distance, the vehicle itself and whether the truck returns empty. Because those vary so much, we price each job individually on the call rather than quoting a rate that would be wrong for most people.
Have the pickup address, the delivery address, and the year, make and model ready and we can usually quote you on the spot.
Booking ahead
Unlike an emergency tow, a long-distance move is usually something you can schedule. Booking ahead means a better slot, a better price and a time that suits you rather than whenever a truck frees up.
If the vehicle does not run, cannot steer or has no keys, say so when booking. All of those are workable. They just change which truck we send.
Tell us these when you call
- Pickup and delivery addresses, as precisely as you can
- Year, make and model of the vehicle
- Whether it runs, steers and rolls, and whether you have keys
- Any access problems: underground garage, narrow lane, steep driveway, locked gate
- When you need it there, so we can schedule rather than squeeze it in
Questions about long-distance towing
How far will you actually go?
Across eastern Ontario and into western Quebec as a matter of routine, and further by arrangement. Call with the destination and we will give you a straight answer.
Is long-distance towing cheaper if I book in advance?
Usually, yes. A scheduled move can be planned around other work, where an emergency call-out cannot. Booking ahead almost always gets you a better price.
Can you deliver a car I bought online?
Yes, this is a common job. We will need the seller's address, the delivery address and someone able to release the vehicle at the other end.
What if the vehicle does not run at all?
That is fine. We winch non-runners onto a flatbed. Just tell us in advance so the right truck is dispatched.
Do you tow into Quebec?
Yes, including Gatineau and the surrounding area. Mention the destination when you call.
