Get safe, then swap details
Hazards on and out of live lanes if you can. Exchange names, licences, plates and insurance with the other driver, and photograph both vehicles and the scene.
Report it at a Collision Reporting Centre
If the combined damage is over $5,000, Ontario law says it must be reported. With no one hurt, you report it at a reporting centre within 30 days, not at the roadside.
